PROJECT RESUME

Providing services and technologies to solve challenging infrastructure needs.

Month/Year: October 2023
Technology Applied: Hydratite Internal Joint Seal
Pipe Diameter: 54-inch
Pipe Length: Spot repair
Summary of Work: Client had a 54-inch influent pump station pipe penetration that had a hole from corrosion. After multiple attempts to rehab the pipe with epoxy, the mechanical joint seal with a stainless steel backer plate provided the solution the utility was looking for.

Month/Year: October 2020 – April 2021
Technology Applied: Primus Line
Pipe Diameter: 6-inch
Pipe Length: 15,840-feet
Summary of Work: An existing 6-inch ductile iron pipe that conveyed waste activated sludge from a wastewater treatment plant to a diversion structure was deteriorating due to hydrogen sulfide. Because of the challenging geometry and need for limited access points, Primus Line was used for the 3-mile rehabilitation.

Month/Year: March 2023
Technology Applied: Cured-in-Place-Pipe
Pipe Diameter: 36-inch
Pipe Length: 85-feet
Summary of Work: During the rehabilitation of a 20-year old lift station, it was discovered that the influent pipeline had leaks at numerous pipe joints. Installation of the CIPP liner provided a watertight solution that extended the life of the pipeline 50-years and beyond.

Month/Year: July / September 2023
Technology Applied: Hydratite Internal Joint Seal
Pipe Diameter: 30- and 36-inch
Pipe Length: Spot repair
Summary of Work: During the installation of a new water transmission pipeline, there was concern at buried flange dielectric connections that the joints might leak in the future. To avoid repairs, internal joint seals were installed at the joints as a preventative measure prior to the pipe being placed in service.

Month/Year: June 2023
Technology Applied: Primus Line
Pipe Diameter: 14-inch
Pipe Length: 350-feet
Summary of Work: An existing well site was being rehabilitated by a water distribution department, but the existing asbestos cement pipe connected to the system was not able to pass pressure test. Because the pipe had numerous bends and was under a high traffic road, Primus Line was chosen to rehabilitate the pipe.

Month/Year: August 2023
Technology Applied: Primus Line
Pipe Diameter: 6-inch
Pipe Length: 75-feet
Summary of Work: After an emergency failure of a 6-inch water distribution pipeline, the utility had to restore service to a neighborhood quickly. However, the location of the leak and geometry/depth of pipe did not allow for remove and replace. With access pits located in easier to access areas, the pipe was rehabilitated quickly to restore service to their customers.
